Can Low Blood Pressure Cause Anger

De because your mommy loves you even if you are a disobedient child.

Everyone has probably met a few individuals who really is impossible to think that someone wants. Are those of that without more they can say they have no mother. Why? Simply because if they did, then surely these unfortunates have even one person in the world that I wanted, and that would be very hard to believe. But how is it possible that mothers want their children well, even when such individuals could be all about fichitas?

Well, this question has not escaped the scientific curiosity. There have been many studies concerned with understanding the emotional relationship between mother and child, but as this is a cognitive neuroscience blog because I'm going to talk about a study that investigated the brain basis of maternal love. In 2003, Andreas Bartels and Semir Zeki, of University College London published in the journal NeuroImage a study which analyzed the neural basis of maternal love.

What did?

These researchers used functional MRI to measure brain activity in mothers while viewing pictures of their children or children of other women. In the same study also compared the brain activation when viewing pictures of their children, or pictures of your best friends or people simply known. Well, the results were very interesting. Basically found that, unlike when the mothers saw other children, when they saw their children were activated two types of areas. Some related to hormones vasopressin and oxitosina, which has been amply demonstrated that strengthen human bonds and facilitate social relations, and other related areas in the processing of reward, which are areas that are caught when they arrive stimuli, through activation of this reward system us pleasure, as would food. Another interesting finding of this study also found that during the presentation of photos of their children down the activity of regions associated with negative emotions and regions related to the generation of social judgments, as would be amygdala, the parietotemporal junction and the medial prefrontal cortex.

The authors found that several regions of activation that overlap on between maternal love and romantic love, as would be the reward system, disabling the machinery associated with critical evaluations in society and negative emotions. This suggests to the authors that both maternal love, romantic love as there is a mechanism by which reduce negative emotions, avoidance behavior and social assessment, and on the other side trigger mechanisms involved in reward and pleasure. Maybe that could explain why some mothers when their babies are literally say they feel in love with them, are as they are.
.

Well, this also helps us understand how these mothers as alluded to because of their children, they want to anyway. Although seeing a positive side, the mechanism of maternal love applies for the rest of us, so fortunately, we enjoyed the most wonderful experience have, or have had, a mother who wanted us.
